Out of All Kinds of Love, Eros is the Problem

Love is the most ever prominent satisfaction ever longed by the human race in history. Out of love we find peace, pleasure, relaxation, comfort, steadfast relationships, happiness, eroticism and satisfaction, friendship, support, agape, phileo, storge, platonic and last but not least Eros the most problematic love mankind ever faced, together with agape. Nevertheless, out of love cometh betrayal, war, conflict, grievousness, lamentation, grief, hate, dishonesty, stupidity and foolishness and many you can think of. In summing up, there is not a universal definition of love.

The problem with English and other Indo-European languages and many languages worldwide, they have one word for love. Greek has four to five names of love, they are storge love, agape love, phileo love, and eros love. The last one would be platonic love. Storge love is the family love, phileo is brotherly love, that is one you have for your companions or friends. Eros love is the sensual, passionate and sexual love between two people. Agape is when being able to put your life at stake for others, love them in their: weakness, foolishness, mistakes, love them with no condition,   Then the last but not least, is platonic love, is the strong steadfast love, the deepest and affectionate love between two people but it does not at all involve sex, neither does it go to near sexual activity.
